Removing (or editing) border on default table

I am building a new store in Shopify and have created a few pages with Insert Table. Each table has a 1px border around each cell. These borders don't go away even when I edit the HTML to remove the border.

Do I need to go edit the CSS somewhere or am I missing the border requirements somewhere in Edit Properties? Thanks.

I've been wanting to remove the table borders too. Anyone know how to do this?

In style.css.liquid you should find something like this:

table th{
  padding: 4px 8px;
  font-weight: bold;
  border: solid 1px {{ settings.content_secondary_colour }};
  color: {{ settings.content_header_colour }};
  background: {{ settings.cart_header_colour }} url({{ 'table-header-depth.png' | asset_url }}) 0 100% repeat-x;
  }
table td{
  padding: 4px 8px;
  border: solid 1px {{ settings.content_secondary_colour }};
Change the border: solid 1px to 0px in one or both places and you should be good to go.

This worked for me, thanks.  change both 1px > 0px.

But what will happen when I need a table with a boarder?

This worked for me to but sometimes I do need a boarder on tables.

@ elias_majid did you find a way to add it when you need it?

TIA
