Hi there,

I've noticed that when i use my search bar, the live results are hidden behind the main navigation menu.

I'm using the Smart Menu App and my site is visible here

Any help would be appreciated!

Thank you.

Regards,

Frank

Hi, chocoholic86,

This is Evita from On The Map.

Just add this css code in your theme code. If you don' t know where to add it, then I need to know what theme are you using. You can try finding theme.scss file in Assets folder.

.header__search-bar-wrapper .search-bar {z-index: 1000;}
Best,
Evita

Hi thre,

Thanks for your message.

I am using the Warehouse Theme. I tried looking in theme.scss.liquid and could find stuff regarding the search bar but when i added this code I probably put it in the wrong place.

Did you press the save button when you edited the code?

Add the code at the bottom of scss file.

Yup

Then I pasted it somewhere else and it broke the theme so I had to delete it

Ok, try adding this then:

form.search-bar.is-expanded {z-index: 1000}

There shouldn't be any conflicts now.
