Search Bar Not Working Properly in Venture Theme

My search bar in venture theme doesn't work properly, it used to slide open to the left when you clicked on the magnifying glass.  I have un-installed and old search app and currently using a new search app but none of the coding works to resolve the issue?  I would like to get rid of the big magnifying glass and have a permenant search box in my header section.

Also I have just noticed that the search box is missing on the mobile version now.

Any help and assistance would be much appreciated.

Thank you for your reply, the issue has now been resolved, I got a Shopify expert that I regularly use to sort it out, all done within an hour and back online.
