Search result not showing variant?

Hey.

How can i make the searchbar show result for variant aswell?

E.g i have a product called Table with variant 1. Oak tree 2. maple tree.

If i search for maple tree i want to see the product Table as a result.

It can be done by doing some code customization. Please take the help of a developer and hire Shopify Expert or me

When it comes to the search function, we have a useful guide on the subject here. As you can see, the search-function logic really only pulls in the product (and not its variants).

If you feel confident with coding you could try customizing the search code as per this guide. If you prefer, you could try consulting the Experts.

Hello @las1 

Ultimate Filter & Search can search by product option and return the matching variant image. If customers search for maple tree it can show the maple tree image instead of the main product image.
