Secondary theme

Hi

I currently run a Shopify store using a free theme. The store is on-line but I want to try some new themes (maybe also some paid ones) and if they are suitable I want to replace the current theme with the new one.

Can I do some experiments without this to affect my current online store? After I will find the suitable new theme I want to keep that.

Hi @Ciprian_Pop !

As long as you're not publishing any theme you can set & test everything out without anything affecting your live theme!

Moreover, Paid theme cannot be published before you buy them anyway so you won't have this issue!

Another question would be: if I switch to the new theme, is my old one saved somewhere and can I revert to it anytime I want?

Yes, themes are not deleted when you unpublish them (by publishing another).  So yes, themes are saved until you delete the by clicking Actions > Delete theme

@Ciprian_Pop Yes this is correct, they just show in the Themes sections until you explicitly delete them.
