Shopify Debut Theme is confusing, waste of time and truly not user friendly at all

My boss told me to customize the online store.

The most frustrating when mobile version and the desktop version constantly at war with each other when it comes to the spaces , gaps and the customization, ugh.

Its really a waste of time having to customize each of them all for someone who doesn't understand a single thing about coding.

Please don't ask me to go to those "edit code" all, I've tried all when I browsed for help, its not helping at all, constantly error .

Question 1:

How do I remove all those GAPS and make sure its aligned?

I'm not sure I've understood what your question is. I think it would help if I had a link to your store to see what it is you see. If you provided me with some screenshots showing me what it is you're looking to change, that would be a great help too. Have you made any code edits already? Bear in mind too that if you're unhappy with the Debut theme, you could always think about replacing it with a different theme instead.

Thank you for replying to my email.

I just want to know why it affects the layout for Desktop when I was
setting up for the Mobile version?
Can't the both be different ?
As you can see the desktop version looks weird and how do I remove the gaps
in between, as shown in the photo attachment.
Whenever I edit the desktop version, it affects the mobile version.
It's somehow really frustrating . Hope I can get a solution for this.

No I didn't edit any code, couldn't understand a single coding.

@dRea71 - I can understand the frustration but mobile and desktop css settings are bit different, those can be kept separate but need to do it manually
