Anders from the Shopify Social Care team here. Thanks for reaching out today.
If the theme you're currently using allows you to set variant filtering by color, usually, the code for this feature can only read base terms for colors. For example, black, red, blue etc. It could be that the term 'Nude' is not recognized by the code. I suggest using an alternative term for the color you're after.
Let me know how that goes!
Hi Anders, thx reply.
In case I'm not having problem with the term, for example Nude. This happens for any term where you have the product with your main color, you see? If I filter by red the product listing brings the result of the product that exists in red but its main color is black. This confused the user, since it does not make sense to click on the red and see the main product in black color. I would like to know how to programation load the product with the color of the variant, without having to duplicate its registration. Can you help me with programation and script?

Thx a lot!
Hey again, Rodrigo!
Thanks for the additional context here. Based on the issue, I believe I will need to have a look at your store's theme to properly see what is causing the trouble. I've just sent you an email from our system so let's continue the conversation there.
Thanks, and we'll speak soon!
There's a good solution for you to search and filter by product variants. This app Ultimate search and filter https://apps.shopify.com/ultimate-search-and-filter-1 can understand the contextual search term and find responsive product variants.
Take a look at the demo store: https://usf-vertical.myshopify.com/collections/men-shirts
The Button Down Collar Oxford Shirt has 2 color as Blue and Red. Searching "red shirt" or "blue shirt" will show up the matching variant image. The same with the color filter.
Hope it can help.
