To remove the arrows I only changed from display to none on the CSS file.

I'd like to know if you've found out how to stop it going to the next slide yet Tommy? I am in the process of making my slideshow images click-able as well but don't want them to move to the next slide.

Also for anyone making this adjustment now, the <div class... area is on line 17 of your slideshow.liquid

To make the slideshow stop going to the next slide when you click on the image:

1- open theme.js
2- Find this part:
$(selectors.heroImage).on('click' + this.namespace, function() {
      this.$hero.slick('slickNext');
    }.bind(this));

3-delete it or comment it out

Worked for me :)

You can go to your theme options, and from there it is very easy to do such modifications.

Hi you may do a little thing and your slide show images will be clickable without using buttons.

open slideshow.liquid file and add

<a href="{{block.setting.button_link}}">

open slideshow.liquid and add <a href="{{block.setting.button_link}}"> before

<div class="slideshow__image box ratio-container lazyload{% unless forloop.first %} lazypreload{% endunless %} js"
data-bgset="{% include 'bgset', image: block.settings.image %}"
data-sizes="auto"
data-parent-fit="contain"
style="background-position: {{ block.settings.alignment }};
background-image: url('{{ block.settings.image | img_url: '300x300' }}');">
{% if section.settings.show_overlay %}<div class="slideshow__overlay"></div>{% endif %}

</a>  //add this before this div//
</div>

after that goto slideshow and leave the button space blank and add link(product, collection, page) and save it... now check it... Its working.. see the screenshot.

Hello there , where you put the </a> in  screenshot is different compared to your description for the ending part.

I tried this it did not worked for me ! Could it be that im using different version of Brooklyn theme?
