Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
The logo I have on my site is an image rather than text. It has my store name in a transparent white font (see below).
I've used code to create a sticky header that changes to a white background when the viewer scrolls. Everything is working fine with this except you can't see my logo anymore (see below). I have this same logo in black and was wondering if there is a way to swap out the image also?
Any help would be appreciated!

This is great. The logo is coming up as it should on all pages besides the homepage. When I scroll here, the logo still can't be seen.
Is there a way to fix this?

I already have the black logo selected in the header settings.
This shows on all the other pages. It just doesn't change from the white transparent logo on the homepage. Is there somewhere else I need to add this?

I'm not looking to hire anyone for customizations on the website or anything like that. I've been figuring it out on my own. I was just looking for some guidance on how to fix this one thing that I can't figure out. The black logo is showing in the sticky header on all pages with the white background except the homepage. When the page scrolls and the header changes from the transparent background to the white background, I want the white logo to change to the black logo.

Hi, i'm also interested in the solution !
I use the theme CRAFT, my website (new and in construction) is : https://atelierpampam.myshopify.com/
I tried this code :
}
.shopify-section-header-sticky .header__heading-link link link--text focus-inset{
img_url : ("https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0550/1547/3216/files/Logo_nu_Logo_600x350_suie.png?v=1658565705")
}
But i'm not an expert and this one doesn't work ! I'm still in my free trial, so i can't unlock yet my website and take off the password.
Is it possible for you just to correct me on the code i shared to you ?
Her is the code that works to change my header in transparent and my steaky header in opac color :
/* Barre de menu transparente */
.header-wrapper{
background: transparent !important;
position: absolute;
width: 100%;
}
.header__active-menu-item,
.header__icon,
.header__menu-item {
color: #F8F7F3 !important;
}
/* Couleur Sticky Header */
.shopify-section-header-sticky .header-wrapper{
background: var(--gradient-background) !important;
}
.shopify-section-header-sticky .header__active-menu-item,
.shopify-section-header-sticky .header__icon,
.shopify-section-header-sticky .header__menu-item {
color: rgba(var(--color-foreground),.75) !important;
Thank you so much,
Cécile M.
