I am using an integration platform to create Products and variants in Shopify. My process creates Products first and then its variants.
There are instances where I have products with only 2 variant options whereas other products have 3 variant options. When I try to create a product with 2 variant options via integration platform, Shopify returns an error: "422: You need to add option value for [option_name]"
It works when I send "NA" or "null" as a default value in case there is no data coming in from source system. But I don't want to see a bunch of NA(s) or null(s) on my Shopify UI screen.
Did anyone of you face anything similar? And do you have any suggestions?
