Hello everyone, i've got a problem on Venture Theme.

When I'm a collection page, and I want to switch on the page 2 for example (every page do this), in the title of the page, it shows "i18n: Error Missing interpolation value "page" for "Page {{page}}". How could I fix this please?

Thank You

Hi, @BlKOut!

This is May from Shopify.

I'm sorry to hear that you are having this issue with your theme. From my experience this would most likely be caused by some bad code found within your theme, however, it's hard to tell without directly looking at your account. Would you be able to share a link to your store and/or a link where you are seeing this error message? That way, I'll be able to have a further look into it, and perhaps other merchants here can help as well.

When it comes to issues like this, typically, we would open up a fresh install of another theme to see if the issue is replicated. If the issue is resolved in a freshly installed theme, then that means the issue lies within your current theme. When you have the chance to try this, please let me know if you are still seeing this error message.

If you have other questions about your theme, feel free to reply to this post and I'll happily help!

Kind regards,

May.

Hello, @May.

Thank you for your reply ! I tried to set a fresh theme of Venture, and it doesn't show this error, so I know it come from my current theme where I put some codes in there.

Here is a page where you could see this error: https://dessin-manga.com/collections/materiels-contour?page=2

Tell me if you have more info about this please !

Thank you !

Hi again, @BlKOut!

Thank you for getting back, and I'm glad to hear that installing a fresh copy of the theme got rid of the error!

I have looked into the link you sent me, but I'm still not able to see the error. If your current theme is the freshly installed theme, the error could be on your unpublished theme. If this is the case, you can share a preview link to your unpublished theme. You can get think link by heading into your admin and click on 'Online Store > Actions > Preview', on the bottom of the page click 'Share preview' and copy the link! If you have a screenshot of the error, that would be very helpful as well.

Looking forward to hear back from you!

I sent you thé link of my publish theme, and it's also the theme from
where I get this error, the fresh theme is unpublished. So you tell me
you didn't see this error, sounds really weird.. Have any idea of what to
do?
Thank you!

Hi again!

Thank you for confirming. I still wasn't able to see the error directly on your website, but I did find the error when I inspected the code on Chrome.

Knowing that the error is present there, it could be because of some code edits that were made on your 'theme.liquid' file. I have reached out to our theme specialists and they were able to revert this section of the code back to original, so the error should be resolved! Please let me know if you are still seeing the error.

For future reference, if you are having similar issues with a Shopify developed themes, I highly recommend reaching out to our support channel for a more immediate help 🙂

Cheers!
