Venture Theme - Keep search box open?

Hi, does anyone know how to keep the seach box open in the header menu? I think it would be better that way since the small button could be hard to find.

Hi, I have added this code to my website and it has works (sort of)...when you load the page, the search bar is open. If you click inside the search bar to search for something, but then click out before typing anything, the search bar disappears, and won't stay open until I go to a new page or refresh the page - any way to fix this?
