Hi levi,

For removing the Powered by Shopify notice, you can follow along this tutorial by Shopify.

As for the whitespace, it would help if you'd share the theme name and store preview password so people willing to help can actually have a look at the HTML and suggest appropriate fixes for the theme.

Best wishes!

So one way of reducing that gap is making a change in Layout / theme.liquid where you'd look for

<hr class="hr--large">

And change it for

<hr class="hr--small">

Or completely remove it if it bothers you.

Next you can also look at Assets / timber.scss.liquid and find

.main-content {
  display: block;
  padding-top: $gutter;

  @include at-query($min, $postSmall) {
    padding-bottom: 40px;
  }

  @include at-query($min, $large) {
    padding-top: $contentTopMargin;
  }
}

That padding-bottom can be made smaller as you require.

There are many more places where such adjustments can be made - these are just the 2 most obvious ones. Ultimately it boils down to exploring the theme's code a little, getting to know where what is, knowing some HTML and CSS in order to adjust accordingly if you need to.

Best wishes!
