Product thumbnail images depends on number of images you add in back-end. So if you want only to show three thumbnails then can remove images form back-end.

I am sorry my question was not clear. I have 5 product views in total. I want to have 3 images per row.Right now , it is 4 per row.

I was wondering how to change that to 3 and also make it responsive.

I figured out the solution though. I added one-third as the class instead of one-quarter and it made the thumbnail images bigger and three per row.

May here from Shopify.

You can actually change the number of products per row displayed on your store from your theme editor. With the Supply theme, you can go to your 'Online Store > Themes > Customize', Then on the top right, there will be a dropdown where you can select which page you want to edit, in this case, select 'Collection pages', and you will see the dropdown option to adjust the number of products per row, and click 'Save'.

All of our Shopify developed themes (all the free themes) are responsive right out the box, so customers will be able to have a great experience viewing your website on a tablet or mobile device without you having to make any adjustments.

Thank you so much for looking into it. I think there was a small confusion. I was asking how to change the product thumbnail images on product page not the collection page.

I actually was able to change the number and size of thumbnail images on the product page by adding the class "one-third" instead of "one-quarter"  to the images in thumbnail grid.But i appreciate your help!

I also want to increase the size of the thumbnail from 3 to 4 and I am using the Alamp theme but in that, there is no option available to change that count directly.
Can you please assist how can I change my theme also? where you have added that class?
