Just seeing that there is now a 90 day trial period. Is it open to all new accounts, just took up the basic plan yesterday then changed it to a Pause status, would be better to have that 90 day option. Are there many who have managed to have the extended period? If so, how was that achieved please?

This is an accepted solution.

Hi, @PeterMCG,

Hank here from Shopify.

Are you referring to the 90-day trial that was brought in temporarily in March?

This is where we introduced 90-day free trials as a temporary relief effort to help businesses get online during the COVID-19 pandemic. As of June 1, that offer has ended and we’re returning to our standard 14-day free trial.

So all new accounts can follow this link to start a 14-day free trial. Just enter an email address and click Get Started!

However, as you mentioned you have already started your trial and selected a paid plan. Are you on the full pause plan, or the pause and build plan? The reason I ask is the pause and build plan will allow you to continue to work on your store while you are getting ready to start selling.

If you do have any other questions, let me know!

All the best,

Hank

Thanks Hank, that makes sense to me now.
