Has anyone had success with getting your product to surface "for free" on google merchant?

Does "enhanced free listings" work in Mexico? I have been round and round with Google support and can't seem to get a straight answer on why it doesn't work— Grrrr

If you are not eligible, you need to work on your trust factor. Here is the official documentation: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/9668403

And below what I recommend you check.

a) Add product identifiers :

b) Link to 3rd party platforms

In Google Merchant Center go to the top right corner > wrench icon > linked accounts > click on platforms > click on the blue plus button

c) Link Google My Business

In Google Merchant Center go to the top right corner > wrench icon > linked accounts > click on Google My Business > click on the blue plus button

d) Add Business Information

In Google Merchant Center go to the top right corner > wrench icon > business information > about your business

e) Add website contact details

Make sure to add a telephone number, business address, email address and a contact form on a contact page.

f) Business registration

Make sure your business is officially registered in your country.

g) Reviews

Make sure to collect a lot of reviews

h) Policy flags

Make sure you are in good standing and all policy flags are cleared. You can find these under Products > Diagnostics

Emmanuel,

thank you for responding, and yes I've gone through that checklist quite a few times with no luck.

The only thing I can think of now is the google fields aren't correct for our type of product.

Still at a loss.

When submitting product identifiers the following rule applies.
If a manufacturer has assigned a bar code, then submit brand, mpn (if available), GTIN and set identifier exists to yes.
If the manufacturer has not assigned a bar code, then remove the values brand, mpn, gtin and set identifier exists to no.

Thanks, Emmanuel,

we don't have a GTN identifier but we do have a mpn identifier, and I've set the identifier to no.  Anything else?
