Add products to Checkout (not cart) via link

Is there any way to add products to the checkout (not cart) via a link.

I understand there is a way to add products directly to Shopify's Cart by adding the product id and qty to the shop's url like this: domain.com/cart/product-ID1:qty,product-ID2:qty This method goes to the Shopify designed cart.

Instead, we would like to find a way to go to the actual store's checkout that lets you change qty or add/remove products etc.

Our purpose is to use the link outside of Shopify such as eblasts, newsletters etc. and requires the ability to add multiple product variants to the checkout.

Thx in advance.

Probably not the best method but hope the following can help others.

This form method below works for our needs as we need it to work with multiple products being added to the Checkout simultaneously to create bundle of products:

<form method="post" action="https://yourwebsite.com/cart/add">
<input type="text" value="1234567890" name="id[]" style="display: none;" />
<input type="text" value="1" name="qty[]" style="display: none;" />
<input type="text" value="0987654321" name="id[]" style="display: none;" />
<input type="text" value="1" name="qty[]" style="display: none;" />
<button type="submit">Add to Cart</button>
</form>

Note that the 1234567890 and 0987654321 are the variant/product ids of each product you want to add to the Checkout and not Shopify's cart. You can add more. The add to cart can be an image or text and styled however you'd like.

Note that if you only need 1 product to be added to the cart, here is a much more efficient method thanks to Jason from FreakDesign.com.au who posted a response in another post here. This works great except I was unable to make it work for multiple products yet (I'm still looking for a way for this URL method to work with multiple products but the Form method above works for me for now temporarily)

http://foo.com/cart/add?id=123456789&quantity=1

Update: Jason comes through yet again with a solution to the multiple product URL shown here:

http://foo.com/cart/add?id[]=123456789&id[]=0987654321

Special thx to Jason at FreakDesign

I'm using the form method above, but the correct quantities don't seem to be pulled in to the checkout for multiple products.

Also having a real challenge using this method to append line item properties with different values for multiple products. Is there an example of how this can be achieved?

Any help would be much appreciated!
