App to display search results newest to oldest

Hi, 

When someone searches a term like blue leggings on my site the results are displayed randomly. Is there an app that will allow me to have my search results displayed by most recently created ("newest") products first?

I completely understand how frustrating this is for you! It is a lot nicer when you are able to organize things, especially search items.  

Fret not, I have found a couple of apps that I think will work for exactly what you are looking for. Smart Search & Instant Search allows for filters. Instant Search + is another one that is really helpful for the features that you want. It is used by companies like Fashion Nova and Pura Vida Bracelets. 

I would list all of the features that these apps have, but there are really just too many to list. In that case, I recommend reading the links that I gave above.
