BUG: Line item SKU is being deleted off existing draft line item when adding a new custom line item.

Using the Shopify admin:

Opened a draft order which has a custom line item with a SKU (which we use to link the line item a internal object)
I click 'add custom item'
Add any item

The original custom line item will now loose it's SKU, making it blank.

We first noticed this issue using the admin REST API.

Any updates? This bug is effecting a lot of our orders.
