Hi - Im new to Shopify and trying to wrap my head around the best way to list my products - apologies if the explanation is not the clearest.
Im aiming to specialise in commercial vehicle accessories - my range is made up of a few basic products however, each product can have different combinations for different vehicle types which all have a different price. Im trying to work out the best way to display these without it looking cluttered. The ideal solution is to go to a product page and then pick the variant through a series of drop downs which find the correct variant and adjust the price accordingly - i have tried doing this with the infinite options app but there is nowhere to input the pricing. Is there a way to do this without creating / displaying countless different products?
Example - Roof racks - product aero roof rack, There are 240 different variants i have for this product so far, E.g
VanX - Model Y - 2008 - 2 Bar - £100
VanX - Model Y - 2008 - 3 Bar - £120
VanX - Model Y - 2010 - 3 Bar - £115
Van A - Model B - 2006 - 2 Bar - £106
and so on.
Hi is the price of the final product is linearly related to the options chosen? You may want to consider going for a custom bundling solution if any of the existing app is not solving your problem. Did you check the bundle app? https://bundle-builder-demo-store-1.myshopify.com/apps/bundles/bundle/15121
I will be happy to discuss your custom requirements.
Thanks for your response.
I don't think bundles would be the correct solution - the solution i'm looking for on the product page would ideally look like
Vehicle make - Drop down list
Vehicle Model - Drop down list conditional on previous
Vehicle year - Drop down list conditional
2 Bar or 3 Bar - Check boxes
Price of page altered to reflect options chosen.
Ok, I understand you just want a way to sell a custom product. You wouldn't be managing all the possible products with these options as variants with specific images, right?
Your SKUs will be individual pieces which you would assemble and supply is that correct? Are you looking for something like this
