Special deals are nice, but how do people learn about your deals?
We're putting together a series of 'how to find customers using Snapchat, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram' articles that might help you get thousands of visitors before the holidays.
First one includes the amazing story of a 22 year old entreprenur who managed to have his app downloaded thousands of times, with a budget as low as $17.54. Really inspiring case study!

I've read an interesting post about tips to sell more this Black Friday. Maybe this works for you https://medium.com/@bizcaff/5-tips-to-boost-sales-on-black-friday-cyber-monday-this-year-f45334d7d69...
Is it generally more effective to launch a Black Friday promo code or simply slash prices. Either way, we will be sending out a mailchimp update and social media posts about the sales etc. Sometimes I wonder about the promo code as one would have had to receive the code, or land on our home page to see the black friday slider image advertsing the code. Thoughts?
Hi We did Black Friday to good success last year 15% off all black online with a coupon (thats all products tagged black and that is lot of products for us in cycling wear) supported by a very simple malichimp mailout on the day, and a large banner on the front page
This year doing 15% off all products in store and online supported by mail campaign (doing a spilt test with half email out at 10:30 this morning - the day before, and half at 10am on the day), a large banner and a facebook post. Instead of a coupon (which often people forget to use) we are using the Bold Products App to reduce the prices for the period and then reinstate them at the end.
Hard to knwo how well it will work - this has been an unusual spring.
As said earlier why only 15% and not 50% - because we operate on narrow margins in general as we are a retailer and don't manufacture.
We did a similar boxing day sale last year which we thought would have low take up - but I accidently applied the bold apps discounts twice to many products - and to my surprise a lot of people noticed and took advnatage of that.

I am still debating if my store should perticipate in BFCM. My online shop has little sales & traffic and it would benefit to have immediate sells and traffic. However, I would only break even or make little profit. But it will allow me to gain protential cutomers in the future.
