Is there a way to show/ highlight products referenced in blog posts?

Alternatively how to add captions to images in a blog post?

Is there a way to add captions to images in a blog post, or to show the Alt text as image captions. 

I am using ShowTime theme.

Thanks for getting in touch! Great question by the way. 

Typically, stores will hyperlink the image in the blog to a product URL. This allows the image to redirect your customers to the specified page, and you can also choose to direct your customers to a new window or open in the existing window. Simply click the image and then click the hyperlink icon as shown in my screenshots below.

To add a caption, you can add the text below the image and adjust the size and colour of the text. Adjusting the formatting will change the size of the text, as seen in the screenshot I am using “Heading 6”. It should look something like this:

Alternatively, you can also explore pulling the ‘ALT text’ for captions through custom coding. While this is possible, it’s not something that our Theme Support is able to support for third-party themes. If you have limited knowledge with coding, you can check with your theme developers or hire a Shopify Expert to help you with this.
