The Shopify Bulk Editor allows me to enable/disable the availability of products for Google Shopping. While this is useful and effective, its slow, tedius and prone to errors on my part. Is it possible to edit the availability of Google Shopping products in bulk using a CSV upload to my Shopify store? If so how do I do it?
Yes you can, by adding a supplement feed. All you need is a Google sheet with at least the product id that matches the same exact product id in the primary feed. The add a column for availability, with a valid value.
However, i do not recommend doing this as the availability is a crucial part and needs to be correct 24/7 Any inconsistencies and you may get a suspension.
Hope this helps.
I am curious, how do you export products from shopify with the unique product id included? I was planning to create a supplement feed to map sku to mpn since Shopify Google Shopping app does not appear to be sending sku in the feed (which rules out feed rule mapping). Also Shopify no longer accepts bulk updates for Google Shopping fields via csv import, those are just ignored now. So this leaves me with either copy and paste 3000+ sku to mpn using their bulk GUI or figuring out some supplement feed that can tell google that sku = mpn.
There are non, Shopify has stopped this more than half a year ago, or even a year ago.
