Hi! I've uploaded my file on product csv import with Cost per item column. But I am having problems on its cost because the value in my csv is 147.381 but after uploading it became 147,381.00. Is this a problem on shopify? Any help would be so much appreciated. Thanks!

@jpaulc34

I suspect it is because you're using more than two decimal places. Have you tried importing the product with the cost of 147.38 instead? Does that give you the same result or does it import correctly?

This is an accepted solution.

Yes it changed. Ive rounded it off to 2 decimal places.
Ive tested it before, it wont take 3 decimal places as a value, if you pass 2 or more decimals, you'll get this result (147.381 -> 147,381.00).

Is this officially a "shopify issue"?

@jpaulc34

I suspect our systems do not support the additional decimal place. I would recommend contacting Shopify Support to log a ticket. They can use your store as an example to investigate this further.

Sorry to hear it

I think you set your price in euro or other currency so it shows..pls change the price value in 100.23 or like 100.2 and reimport again i think it will solve the issue
