Can i use chip and pin card reader with Android POS

Hey,

I already have a Chip and Pin card reader I bought from Shopify to use for POS. It worked fine on my IPhone at an event. I'm curious to know, will it work as normal on my android tablet? Everywhere i read says its swipe only for android but can I do chip and pin with the card reader i already have? 

Also, can i run the card reader and receipt printer together only with the android tablet? I don't need a cash register as we won't be taking cash, but i would like to have the receipt printer connected. Any information is appreciated.

Which country are you in?

Is it this card reader you're referring to? If so, it's only compatible with iOS, you can't use it with Android devices. Sorry about that. You can find all of the requirements on the guide.

If it's a different reader, please provide me with a link to it if you can.
