Can't access shopify.dev

I get an error like this (in Chrome, and other browsers) each time I try visiting shopify.dev. 

This site can’t be reached

shopify.dev refused to connect.

Try:

• Checking the connection
• Checking the proxy and the firewall

ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

I've tried clearing my cache, flushed DNS servers, deselectProxies (System Preferences->Network -> Proxies) in networks and nothing worked.  Plus I tried the solution posted in https://community.shopify.com/c/Shopify-Discussion/Can-t-access-shopify-dev/m-p/720757#M167821.  

I am a Mac user (version: 10.15.6 ). I know this is not an issue with Shopify but any ideas would be welcome.  Thank you!
