Can’t connect my Shopify to my Facebook account

Still no luck. Neither app talking to each other, and their technology
people should be working together. Extremely frustrating.. My only work
around is manually adding product to fb with $0 value and linking product
back to my shopify platform for more information and pricing.. That way I
don't have to go changing prices in fb store if I make changes in shopify.

Got ours to work. We went into the Facebook business manager and created a
second admin. Once created you can refresh your shopify page and login with
other admin. We got it to work with two accounts. Hope that helps

Thanks so much, when you say you created another admin, do you mean:
1. you added another person with admin rights for the facebook page where the shop is to be linked
2. Refreshed your shopify page
2. Get the new admin person to log into Shopify from their facebook account to connect to facebook

Yes that’s exactly what we did. My wife and I both have accounts on
Facebook. So I added her as an admin in the business manager. And gave her
full rights.... It took a few minutes for it to update fully. Then I
uninstalled the Facebook connection inside of Shopify and reinstall it and
I signed in with her info. Hope that helps

Didn't work for us either.  We still can't reconnect the Facebook Channel.

 
We have done hours researching and trying different things  and all were unsuccessful.  We have cleared our histories, tried different browsers (Safari, Chrome and Firefox), even other computers so there are no cache issues, we deleted all the apps in both Shopify and Facebook, then re-added them, as suggested by people.  
 
We have then tried to use another Facebook account full admin person to log in as well and this didn’t work either.  The same error keeps coming up. 
 
Any help would be most appreciated.

Finally we have reconnected.  This is how we fixed the issue, with Shopify support - Just check you only have yourself as an admin, not any other functions.

 

Please go to your Facebook Page > Settings > Pages Roles > and review the roles here. Ensure their Page Roles are set to "Admin” rather than "Jobs Manager" or "Custom". In order to be connected successfully, the permissions will have to be set to "Admin".

 

If the below options are enabled in the Facebook Business Manager account, the page role will appear as “Custom”. If you disable these options, they will be recognized as a standard page "Admin" and be able connect to the Facebook Sales Channel as expected.


to get there Click Business settings>Select the page>Disable the two options

Once complete, please review that the Facebook Business Page settings look like the screenshot on the right, via Facebook Page - > Settings -> Pages Roles. Then connect to Facebook.
