Can't process cards in Shopify Payments

We just set up Shopify Payments - wanted to use Stripe but that's not possible anymore. 

Tried testing the payment gateway but we have used several cards and always get the same error message that "Address and Postal Code don't match". Please help

Hey, @klausschnurr

The error you're seeing could be one of two things; however, without seeing the error, and looking directly into the account it would be hard to pinpoint the exact reason. The first issue could be the extra verification step that is built in to avoid fraud. If you go to Settings/Payment Providers/Manage (For Shopify Payments) then scroll down the page, you should see the "Automatically Decline Charges" section.  If you have "Decline charges that fail AVS postal code verification" enabled, then this could be the reason behind the error: 


The error typically stems from the information you have inputted at checkout not aligning with the information your bank is verifying. If the bank does not verify this information, then the error will appear. 

If this does not resolve the issue, then it is likely that the address you're inputting is considered invalid. Are you using the Google autofill option, or are you manually inputting the address?
