Change plan to Light

Hi everybody, I just joined Shopify in trial.

Chose the Basic plan but want to downgrade to Light.

At 'Change plans' Light is not an option... Can anyone please help me out? Thanks!

Great question! Shopify Lite can be enabled by removing the "Online Store" sales channel in Settings/Sales Channels. Once you select the trash bin next to "Online Store" you'll see a billing prompt confirming the change in the subscription. 

May I ask why you're wanting to downgrade to the Lite plan?

I will downgrade because have just a few products so Lite plan is more convenient.

Thank you for the context. I wanted to note that the Lite plan does not offer a website. By choosing the Lite plan, you will have access to the Buy Button to embed your products through a third-party website. However, if you do not have a website with a third-party platform and wish to have a website, then you would want to keep the "Online Store" sales channel enabled on your account.
