Over 24 hours ago I added a new MX and a new A record to the DNS settings page in my store.
Name - mail.artnikkiw.com
Points to - 220.127.116.11
Name - artnikkiw.com
Points to - mail.artnikkiw.com
This was what my new host (Webcity) confirmed the records should be. I went back to them, and they have told me that with the DNS not resolving, it is a Shopify-side issue. They told me to askhow I can get the above records to be recognised by Shopify, because they aren't currently recognised.

I searched through the forums to see if anyone had a similar problem. All I could find was this post:
Unfortunately it doesn't solve my problem, those people had what is my A record incorrectly listed as a CNAME record.

I'd suggest you waiting another 16 hours or so for a complete 48 hours cycle and then reach-out to Shopify support to confirm the entries are in place. You can actually do that in advance.
