Charged Twice For One Month

I opened a Shopify store in January - on 22nd January I was charged $24.95 for a Silver Plan - Limited time offer. Then on 28th January, I was charged $29.00. Anyone know why I have been charged twice??

Cal here from Shopify, thanks for reaching out to us. The $29 charge sounds like the monthly subscription to the Shopify Basic plan, however, the "silver plan" mentioned doesn't sound like any of our offerings.

 

You can check everything you've been invoiced for on your store by going to Settings > Billing and viewing the breakdown of the invoice.

 

Likely, it is billing from some third party application that you have installed on your store.

so as we know Shopify basic plan cost $29 and I tried to but it and it was charging me $58 dollars and my card declined due to insufficient funds

Hi @luxuryjew101! For billing-related queries, I recommend contacting our live support channels who can take an in-depth look into your account and billing information.

 

If you're looking for a quick glance at what is contained in your invoice you can go to Settings > Billing, and have a look at the recent invoice you mentioned. It'll give you a breakdown of every charge that it contains.
