My store sell the handmade products made by me and my friends. Customers mostly from my friends and relatives. I've missed the event with BFCM and to be honest it's not popular in my country.
Christmas is more popular and big corporation are making this event even more popular. From that point of view I'm doing preparation to the latest promotion event in this year.
It's the first time for me, so looking for advices from other handmade shops.
I personally think about adding the chat to your store. Promotion season is about responding to customers on time.

I prepared for Christmas event for, like, 1 weeks and a half ago! Indeed, I think it's a little bit late that you still not prepare anything. Tons of work to do, re-adjusting the price, adding more products, preparing marketing work!
You better note all of them down before doing anything or looking for a checklist so you will not forget some small little things. You can use the holiday promotion checklist that I'm using if you want. You may need to modify it a little bit.
