I have an issue with my contact page. I am using the Shopify contact template but not all contact requests make it through. I've tested with multiple email address and only a few make it through. Any ideas why this would be would be helpful.

They don't reach my inbox. When testing the submission they say they send fine. Today I updated my DNS to include the SPF records for Shopify.

What is the sender address of the contact form? users' email? or another one?

Are you using shopify's default form ?

I am using the default form from Shopify.

The sender address is an admin address for the business. It is not a connected to a personal users email address. The email is hosted at Google along with the domain.

Do you have any rejected return email in the inbox of that admin account?.

Not one. The email is set up forward to to address using a recipient address map with G Suite.

Just to be sure:

I fill the form saying that my email is test@user.com

You get an email in your inbox from adminbusiness@yourdomain.com <= This is the from address of the emails right?

If it is that and you are getting only a few, it could be something related to the SPF or domain configuration, but you should have them in SPAM, have you checked there?.

You are correct in your analogy of how the email works.

They are not in spam which I found odd. That was the first spot I looked.

I did another test this morning. 5 emails were sent to the contact form and 1 came through. Any other thoughts?
