Hi Shopify community,
I'm Dominic, owner of Dominic Captures, a photography studio. I am looking for advice to remove a series of photos that were infringing on my copyright. A shop named Diva Minks (diva minks.com) has been using my photos for commercial purposes (including for Black Friday sales) without my consent that were for private portfolio use. I requested for removal with the owner of Diva Minks but she denied removal of the images. I am the photographer and based in Canada, Canadian laws would support my removal.
I submitted the documents to Shopify a couple days ago but I have not heard any response from their legal team. I am wondering what I should do next. If anyone has come across this issue before, please help me in advising the next steps forward. Thanks so much.
