My org is beginning to host virtual events where participants will buy a physical product online (i.e. it is not just a 'ticket', but an actual product we will ship to them), and the purchase of that product will enable them to participate in an online event via Zoom.
The product will remain the same for every event, but we need to be able to track which event the customer intends to participate in by purchasing the product (each event only happens once, and we will host many throughout the year).
So do you have any suggestions for selling the same product online, but identifying which 'event' that product was sold for? Thanks in advance for your suggestions, and let me know if you need any further clarification!
