I came to notice that customer email adresses are case sensitive. I'm setting up a Download Center with Shopify API for deliviering digital goods. Some user provided an email address starting with a capital letter during checkout. If they enter their email address to access my Download Center and don't put that first capital letter the system won't recognize them.
Is there a setting to turn off or ignore case sensitivity in customer emails? Email adresses are practically case insensitive anyway.
