So, if it is not dead simple, perhaps I will change my opinion of it to a walk in the park.
I know this topic is over a month old but chastising posts are pointless and drive off potential Shopify users. Most of them aren’t web developers. If they were they’d be using an ASP or PHP shopping cart on their own web servers. I don’t know many people that know liquid and new users won’t know their way around the Shopify templating system either.
The search function of this forum is hardly user-friendly, if you don’t type exactly the right wording it comes back with no results. In fact, when I typed customize product this is the only topic that came back at all.
Simply restating the existing posts or providing links to them is much more helpful than saying look it up… most people have already looked, which is why they post in the first place.
@Dane, Unfortunately, when you donate your time and advice for free, for all to benefit… you can get a little testy when folks take your advice and then fail to really dig it.
My point is.. you have to do the work. Like anything worthwhile, you have to invest time and effort. In the politest of terms… RTFM applies to Shopify just like it does to anything else…If someone shows that they have done that to the best of their ability, and posts a question, you can bet they will get the help they need to get over the hump.
