I'm looking to setup a basic commerce store for a service-related company, unfortunately, the domain name is not available on shopify so we are looking to purchase the domain via godaddy, I would like to know if we still need to get the "Linux web hosting" service with Godaddy when we purchase the domain?

Hi @Mommymoon !

You don't need this option as the Hosting is done on Shopify and not on GoDaddy, you just need the domain! It would also be a good idea to purchase domain privacy to keep your personal information hidden from the public.
