Duplicating a product

There used to be a drop down for duplicating a product....That is now not an option...Does anyone know what happened or how to get a

Thanks for your question! I understand that you no longer see the option to duplicate your product.

Would you be able to share a screenshot showing what your Shopify Admin looks like at the moment?

Duplicating your product is something you should be able to do from your product details page, as well as when you're editing variants.

To duplicate a product from the product detail page you should see the option next to the product title like so:

20-10-kx81g-sj58b.

 

Or you can duplicate your product when editing your variants:

20-10-4jmb9-36shp.

 

If you're still not seeing this option, let me know so we can have a further look together.

Thank you for your response...FYI I was able to utilize the duplicate
option until the page format was changed as now there is a GREEN active
button showing..I don't want to utilize the variant process as the
duplicate option is much more useful, quicker and way easier See

Thanks for your reply.

I completely understand that you'd like to use this button on the main product details page, rather than in the area where you edit your variants.

The green active label should be separate from the Duplicate button, which should be on the right-hand side of the product title on your product details page.

I am unfortunately unable to see the photo you've attached, so I've sent an email to the email address we have on file for your Shopify Community account.

Please reply with your .myshopify.com URL from your account email address, and I'll be able to take a look into your account to see what might be happening there.
