Email notifications – avoiding the spam folder

Just setting up our email notifications and finding that mails from Shopify in their default form are tending to land in my spam – just wondering if anyone had any tips on setup or wording that might help ensure they stay in the inbox?

For your customers, or yourself?

For your customers, it is always good to have a note on the check-out / thank you page that highlights the fact that further status emails could be sent to spam (so they should check and make the corrections).

How can you even change the Thank You page?
