Email or Notification When Customer Makes Inquiry

Hello,

Currently when a customer subscribes or makes an inquiry on our website there is no notification / email sent to the admin to address the inquiry. You have to manually check each day to see if anyone has entered this information in.

Is there a way to turn on notifications for this? If not I feel this is something very simple that should be added to Shopify without the use of an external app.
