Email submission in form of logged-in client

Dear all, 


How does that work: If a client is logged-in and submits a form. Do I need to have NAME and EMAIL fields in order to know who submitted the form, or does Shopify automatically recognise a client that is logged in and submit the email and name from the log-in information? 


As a client already adds his email while logging-in, its would be nice if he would not need to add this email again when submitting the form. 


How do you all handle this?
