Entered Wrong Bank Info

When I set up my website originally I entered the incorrect routing or account number. It will not allow me to change my account information without entering the old, which I do not know. How do I find out what account and routing numbers I originally entered?

Don here from Shopify.

Would you have entered the correct info previously for an account you are no longer using, or do you think that you had originally entered incorrect info, that would not correspond to an actual bank account?

If you had entered correct info for an account but cannot recall that now, there are a few ways you can confirm this info.

You can contact your bank or financial institute to see if they can provide a void cheque, a paper statement or if you can find this info in your online banking.

Let us know if that is the case and if you've been able to reach out to your bank for this info.

If not, or if the info entered to begin with was just incorrect, let me know here and we can discuss our next steps.

It appears my original banking information (routing number and account number) I entered were incorrect. How do I figure out the information that I originally entered?

Hey Don,

Just wondering if you know when that accounts team will be contacting me? I really need to deal with this issue due to the fact my customers cannot pay me for the products they are getting and my entire business is on hold. So if anyone could reach out to help me I would be appreciative

Sorry to hear you're feeling frustrated by needing to wait for an update here.

Rest assured, your case is being dealt with by the correct people and in as timely a fashion as possible.

I had a look at your email ticket number 20435973 and I can see that it is still with our Accounts team internally, who will be working on this and getting back to you there as soon as they can.
