I think for this you can export the orders from the Orders page.
1) Go to your orders page and filter by date.
2) Select all the orders, then click Export.
3) Sort the csv by the Refunded Amount column.
4) Delete all the orders without an amount in that column.
That should give you all the orders with refunds in that month.

This is what I tried but the filter by date only works on the order, not the refund.
(ex : From Jan 1st to 31st, I'll only have the orders placed in jan & refunded... but 80% of refunded orders was placed before jan 1st...)
I see hmmm haha ya that's a tough one, I've hit a wall on ideas for this one... not sure how to how to track / export that data.
I'm not sure but I know the guys from EZ Exporter app are pro's with reporting. They're a good team and might be able to help you solve this problem (either with tips / advice or with their app). Their app solution might be overkill but they probably have insights in this area.
