Facebook sales channel showing price not sale price

Hey guys,

Does anyone know of a way to get the Facebook sales channel to advertise the sales price rather that the standard price. I was doing some advertising and pretty sure that it was advertising it at the normal price.

Hi @WhiteWolfco,

 

Nick here from Shopify. 

 

When you make a change to a product in your store admin it should change after a few minutes and automatically update to reflect through your Facebook sales channel. Shopify has a help document with more details on this which you can see here as well as the part which most reflects what you're asking below:

Would you be able to take a screenshot and show me the difference in prices and share your store URL also please so I can take a closer look?

Hi @Nick ,

Thank you for your reply. The issue isnt when the price is changed. The issue is that actual price that it advertises at. I have the normal price and then the sale price set in shopify. However it comes through as the original price not the sale price. The below pictures are from shopify and then from how it shows in Facebook Catalog. It shows the compare at price not the actual price.

I looked further into this for you with our higher level support team to see why this might be happening. Can I ask if there are any variants on the product? The reason I ask is that it will show the cheapest variant first, so maybe not all of the variants have a compare at price. Would you also be able to share a URL for your store and the product page in question, as well as a link to your business Facebook page so we can take a closer look at this for you?

Yeah there are variants for the product. There are 2 and they are both the
some price. So that is not really an issue.
Yeah sure the URL for the store is:
wwolfco.com
product url is:
https://whitewolfco.myshopify.com/collections/popular-products/products/ozmo-active-smart-waterbottl...

The facebook page is:
https://www.facebook.com/Whitewolfco

Hey Guys,

 

I'm updating this thread because I am facing the same issue mentioned here.

 

I'm using Debut Theme, and Facebook sales channel from the Shopify interface.

Issue is the following:

Facebook shop displays sales price perfecctly fine.

Facebook catalog displays orginal prices for some reason.

 

Any idea where that might come from?

Similar to above would you be able to share a URL for your store and the product page in question, as well as a link to your business Facebook page so we can take a closer look at this for you? It's difficult to troubleshoot or see why this might be happening without seeing it directly. 

 

Also just to make sure you aren't using any variants on the product because Facebook will show the cheapest variant first, so maybe not all of the variants have a compare at price.
