Anyone experience this? I have a whole list of products that are not approved becuase they either suggest nudity or in one case a pair of shorts seems to have triggered non-approval as a dating service which requires special permission???? I am selling shorts not a dating service!

First, there should be a way to appeal the decision when Facebook denies your product. I had this same problem while selling children's dolls and was always able to win the appeal.
Also, I would review your product descriptions and metadata. Odds are, there is some wording in your description that is setting off the alert. Consider rewording anything that is suggestive or anything that may also overlap with dating service advertisements. In the case of the baby dolls, it was the use of the word "lifelike" in our doll descriptions that was getting it flagged because it overlapped with a sexually suggestive product's main descriptors. When we removed that, Facebook was much happier.
