Hello,
saw this issue here on the community but need assistance.
When I first started selling clothes I had a different bank account which was closed. BUT I have no clue what I entered before.
Help me to find the old numbers so I can enter my new bank account info.
THANK YOU
Ivan

Hello,
I have also been trying to deal with this issue, Is there any way I can get assistance on my website Xengeance.com ? I forgot the numbers I entered within the old bank account and I've been trying to replace them.
Thank you
Hi, @xengeance !
Thanks for reaching out to us about this.
In order to update your previous banking information for Shopify Payments, you will need to re-enter the information as an authentication step. If you don't remember the bank information, we can send a request to our internal team to have this updated for you.
I will be sending you an email shortly so I may escalate this on your behalf.
Cheers!

Hello Rose, I too am having issues with changing old bank info. Can I please get some help with this?
Hi, @rosegolden !
Thanks for reaching out to us about this.
If I understand correctly, you are unable to input the old banking information associated to your Shopify Payments settings in order to update the information, is that right?
If so, I would suggest taking a look at previous bank statements or cheques. If you are still unable to locate the information, please let me know by sending me your store URL and I'll be happy to escalate this to our internal team on your behalf.
I look forward to your reply.
Cheers!

You're welcome!
Hi Rose,
I'm having this same issue. I have failed payments and I've been advised to update my bank account information. I believe I incorrectly entered the routing number and account number the first time. How can I update the bank account information if I don't know the old information?

Thank you!
Still need assistance changing my old bank information to my new one!
did you ever get help?

Hi @Holly, We've forgotten the old bank account details in our account also, can you please assist in having this reset?

Ash & Brent
Hey, @FoxandFierce and @spiritualbae!
I'm happy to escalate this for you but I'd need to authenticate you as the account owner before I can access your account.
I tried to email both of you but the email address on forums does not seem to match a Shopify store. Please don't mention your Shopify store email address publicly for security reasons.
Can you both please contact us either by online chat or email or by private message on either Twitter or Facebook? This will allow us to help you a lot faster than we can on forums.
Thank you!
@PYTCOLLECTION, I can see your case has already been escalated.

Hey, @Jaeden25!
I can't find a Shopify store attached to your forums email address, therefore I can't authenticate you to help. For security reasons, please don't ever provide us with your store email address publicly, this could lead to your account being compromised. Instead, please contact our support and we will be able to authenticate you to get this escalated for you. Online chat is the fastest method. You can also reach out by email, or on Twitter or Facebook Messenger.
Thank you!

My Shopify account says that my correct account is linked, but the payout failed. I also recently paid my bill for the month using the same account they say isn't valid, so I'm not sure what the issue could be. My website is https://lovelyme.store or shawna-white.myshopify.com.
Hey, @SWhite98!
The bank account details on your store are incorrect. Can you please try updating them so that you can receive your payout? Let me know how you get on.
As mentioned earlier in the thread, forums are not the best or fastest place to request help for private account issues. You can contact our support here. Alternatively, reach out to us using Facebook Messenger or Twitter DM.
Thank you!

I am also dealing with a similar issue.
I did found my account that was closed, but Shopify won't let me change the accounts because there are too many numbers apparently.
I keep getting a message stating that 'routing number must be 6 digits.
there was never a reply to my email. I need my store to function.
I am having the same issue, but it’s the same bank account i just slipped up on a number and don’t know where I messed up at
Hey, @maniiithedon!
I have been unable to find a Shopify store attached to the email address you use on forums.
Please DO NOT provide the correct email address publicly because this can jeopardize the security of your Shopify account. Instead, I need you to contact us via online chat, Facebook Messenger or Twitter DM and we will help you there.

Im having a similar problem with my payouts. The bank info i entered is correct but it keeps saying there is a problem. any help would be nice, thank you.
Hi, @livingmap !
Thanks for reaching out to us about this.
Can you tell me a little more about the error message that's linked to the issue itself? If you can send a screenshot, that would be fantastic!
Are you looking to update the banking information linked to your payouts specifically or you are just experiencing an issue with the payouts being deposited?
I look forward to more context in order to better assist you.
Cheers!
