A got a notice of a high risk fraud purchase. However, I verified the the purchase by emailing the customer and the customer quickly sent her information and everything was fine, nothing looked suspicious. When shall I receive my payment of the sale and how can mark that her identity was successfully verified.
Hello @AnthonyBJ
If you're using Shopify Payments, you should still get your payout per the normal schedule. The 'Fraud Risk' guidance in the Shopify Admin is just that - guidance. What it displays has no effect on how the payouts work, and it is up to you, the merchant, to analyze and determine what course of action to take (investigate further? proceed with the transaction? refund the sale? accept the risk or no?).
However, you should hold onto the evidence/documentation you obtained, in the event that a chargeback is attempted against the transaction by the cardholder in the future. If that were to happen you could submit that evidence in your favor to dispute the chargeback.
Hi @AnthonyBJ
As @BobsMojo has mentioned, the Risk Status has no effect on whether or not the payment is put on hold unless you received a chargeback for the order.
@AnthonyBJ You might want to contact Shopify directly to help you out. I don't know the specifics of your account status. https://help.shopify.com/en/questions#/login
