Google disapproved my "approved products" after i used password on my site for awhile

All my products on Shopify are originally all being Approved by Google Merchant Centre. However, today after I used password protect on my site for a few hours, i suddenly found more than half of my products were changed to "Disapproved". And the given reason is :

"domain for your product landing page doesn't match your merchant center website settings."

Now my site is back to normal, no password protect. However I don't know how to fix it. My products' domains are correct .

For future reference, when you do this again, first place all products as out of stock, and delete the data feed.

Then password protect your site, do whatever you need.

Once the site is publicly available again, submit the feed with all the products with accurate availability.

What you did, can not only cause product disapproval but also a suspension, so don't do this again, without following the steps above.

Now you need to wait until Google recrawls the page, this can take up to 30 days.

Thanks for the response and advice.

Since at the very beginning , I used the Google app inside Shopify admin to sync my products to Google merchant center,  in the "Feed" section,  there is only a "content Api" .

If I fix the link by submitting new feed, does it work?

Or, if I create new product, by copying the old content , and delete the old ones, would it work ?

Not sure what you mean.

There should be no reason why you should copy products and then delete old ones. That may make things worse.

Go to Google Merchant Center > products > diagnostics > resolve the issues listed here.

Just curious if you found a way to resolve this? This has just happened to my site and I now have over 1200 items disapproved that were previously approved before I password protected my site.

I've checked several times and my domain is still claimed and verified, so I have no idea how it can possibly say  "the domain for your product landing page doesn't match your merchant centre website". I only have one domain!

I don't have advanced coding knowledge, but can't seem to fix the issues as I've no idea where it's even stemmed from.

Any luck or advice?

I haven't resolved it. Have you reported your issue to Google Merchant Center? Their suggestion for solution to me is to "fix it by update correct url to Content API" -  which i totally don't know what it means and I can't do it. If your case is similar to me (after password protect), probably you will get same response.  And it just wasted me time to submit contact them again and again.

And the main point is, the products URLs are in fact originally CORRECT, what's it for to update a correct data? The domain has never been changed!

Eventually I just took off (stop sync) the disapproved items off from Google Merchant so they can no longer detect them,  then wait awhile I'll sync them again to see if they will approve them again.

I've chatted to Shopify technical support a few times, however,  the staff said he needed to future investigate and will reply me, but so far I couldn't receive any email. And I am unsure can he help me out.
