Hello guys!

I have installed the google shopping app in my store to link it to google merchant.  It said your store meets goole basic requirements but when I go to the home or back end of my store I get the following message: "Google has noticed that your shop does not meet Google's requirements."

What could be the problem?

I have all the pages installed in my store so I'm confused where this is coming from.

I am having the same exact issue. Double checked the right Account, Ads, Merchant Center, and made sure I had the T/S, Privacy, Contact, and Refund and Return policy. Not sure what is going on.

It won't sync my one product either I have on my store

I have double checked all the pages too, but the issue is that it when you click on google it says your account meets google merchant basic requirements. And when I click on home button I see this message "Google has noticed that your shop does not meet Google's requirements." I don't hve any product in my store though.

When checking information always do so in Google Merchant Center, ie: the source. Using 3rd parties apps for issue information may not provide the full scope.

There could be a lot of reasons. Most of the time if not all, when Google does not provide any further info in the email they sent you, then it is a permanent ban. Google ultimately decides who can advertise and who can't regardless of policies.

The most common issues are:
  1. Not adding full contact details (email, phone number, address, contact form)
  2. Not having returns and refund, delivery, privacy policy and terms of service pages
  3. Selling products that are not allowed
  4. Selling product you do not stock, for example, dropshipping
  5. Not adding any added content, and simply copy-pasting other sites
You can ask Google for further explanation if they can. To do so ask here and check the box, I need more info https://support.google.com/merchants/contact/suspended

If you provide the community with more detailed information, we may be able to provide further guidance.

Hope this helps.

In my case I'm not banned or suspended, but when I click the home button of my store I see the following message: Google has noticed that your shop does not meet Google's requirements.

And when I click on google app, they say your store meets google basic requirements.  I have the following pages in my store:  refund policy, privacy policy, terms of use, shipping, contact us.

I have not added any product though.

Make sure you look in Google Merchant Center, not Shopify.

If you can't get the products listed, contact the app support you are using or alternatively use a different data feed management tool.

I'm saying that it does not allow me to upload products. I'm just curious why I get this message : Google has noticed that your shop does not meet Google's requirements. And when I click on learn more it says your store meets google mmerchant's basic resuirements. So I'm confused. My store is empty there is no products in it.

The message does not seem to be from Google Merchant Center, but from within Shopify. It is recommended to contact Shopify or the app support team.

If you like to learn what the policy requirements are: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6363310?hl=en-GB

Google shopping has some very strict requirements, so it is best to read the requirements, one mistake can have dire consequences. Google Shopping is not a just plugin and all will be fine.

It does require you to follow policies.

Alternatively, hire a specialist in the field. Or provide more in depth information about your site.

I received that message too.  I corrected it by linking my google ads account to the GMC.  I then returned to Shopify created a campaign which I immediately paused.  That took care of that!
